Brewing instructions

Add 6 to 8 grams of tea leaves for each brewing, the recommended tea-water ratio is 1:15, boil the water, rinse the tea leaves twice to clean and wake up the leaves. Big dark leaf with big dark flavor upfront. Your first sip will greet you with a lightly-roasted flavor that has some sweet notes underneath. That sweet note - like a flower's nectar - will stay in your mouth for a while. Combined with the drying sensation, that sweet aftertaste will have you taking one sip after another. The aroma itself is lovely; the orchid descriptor is accurate. And though the leaves last for quite a few infusions, do be careful: this can get bitter if you oversteep. If you haven't tried a Dan Cong before, this tea is an excellent place to start.

Pleasant Tea

Dry leaf has chocolate, minty aroma. Flavor is smooth with hints of dried fruit as well as in the aroma. Not particularly sweet. A bit on the thin side as far as the body goes, but is pleasant with good huigan and a wet mouthfeel. A gaiwan proved beneficial in bringing out more of the fruit. An easy drinker.

Anji Bai

Anji Bai, an exceptional tea! Among green teas, this is my favorite! After brewing, the color in the cup is very light, and when you sip, it has a honeyed aftertaste, very sweet, that lingers in the mouth.

This oolong tea is really lovely

This oolong tea is really lovely. It's slightly sweet, and light. It's not bitter, (unless you steep it too long). It's quickly becoming one of my favorites!

Silky and rich, yet light enough for afternoon sipping

This tea is a delight. It has a silky full texture, rich in round flavors of chestnuts, honey and caramel. Brewed for 4 minutes and it has no bitterness, just that little bit of sweetness to keep you sipping and enjoying. As others have mentioned, the taste lingers and you are happy for it.

The tea was floral and bright with a slight nutty aroma and a looong aftertaste. Very nice to enjoy in a slow gong fu cha session. I brewed it up to 7 times but I think I could brew even more.
