WHAT IS OOLONG TEA?
Oolong tea is a semi-fermented tea, with the oxidation process playing a crucial role in developing its unique flavors and aromas. It is also one of the six traditional Chinese tea types. Oolong tea has a variety of varieties and is a unique tea variety in China. In terms of quality characteristics, Oolong tea has a thick and tight appearance and a dark brown and oily color. Oolong tea has a natural floral and fruity aroma and the characteristics of “green leaves with red edges”. It has the fragrance of green tea and the mellow taste of black tea. The main varieties of Chinese Oolong tea include Dancong tea (produced in Chaozhou City, China), Tieguanyin (produced in Anxi County, China), Dahongpao and Wuyi Rock Tea (produced in Wuyishan City, China). Among them, our website’s main product, Dancong tea, is the most precious in the Oolong tea series and is a rare variety in Oolong tea.

Phoenix（fenghuang） Dancong tea is a rare variety of oolong tea. It is produced in Phoenix（fenghuang） Mountain, 1,400 meters above sea level in Chaozhou City, China. It is a semi-fermented tea, a natural floral tea brewed by hand using traditional Chinese techniques. It is known as the perfume of tea and the noble of tea. It has the characteristics of natural floral fragrance, mellow taste, sweet and strong taste, and can be brewed for a long time. There are nearly 100 flavors of Phoenix（fenghuang） Dancong tea.

OUR TEA CULTURE
Chaozhou is an ancient city in China, where the most traditional and oldest intangible cultural heritage of China is deposited, including Chaozhou wood carving, Chaozhou opera, Yingge dance, Chaozhou embroidery and Chaozhou Gongfu tea. Among them, tea culture is particularly eye-catching. Chaozhou Gongfu tea is world-renowned, so every year on International Tea Day, China will hold a Gongfu Tea Conference in Chaozhou. During the conference, tea farmers and tea culture people from all over the country will gather in Chaozhou to display their best varieties for tea evaluation. Therefore, in addition to making Dancong tea we also reserve high-quality tea tree variety resources of China's six major tea categories.

I have had many Fei Xi Zho teas from many vendors, but this one is very special. Often the Lychee is very forward and dominant. Here it s subtle, and that allows a gentle, interesting floral complexity to emerge. I love this tea.

I was little confused by the color of the tea and also the title of the outside box. I thought I got flower tea instead of white jasmine tea. The customer service explained me patiently. I haven’t tried the tea yet but I am sure I will enjoy the tea.
I was a decaf person before I started working 10 hours a day. Now, I enjoy my Daphne Cinnamon Da Hong Pao Oolong tea because it helps me relax, and the aroma just hits me right. The taste is fantastically smooth and full-bodied.
This has become my favourite evening Huaxiang Rougui Dahongpao Oolong tea to have, and I personally prefer it as it tastes much better. It also brews quickly and produces a consistent taste every time. I also put extra leaves in the pot because the aroma is amazing.
This is my second time ordering Bi Luo Chun green tea from Dofotea brand, and I honestly don’t want to run out. The flavour is natural and mild, just the way I like it. I brew it using my pour-over and add a touch of sweetener, it turns out really lovely every time.
This Laocong Shuixian Dahongpao Oolong tea has a very good taste, and I’m currently enjoying my third brew. I have decided to stick to it for some time now, and the biggest reason is that it helps me relax really quickly.
I love having Osmanthus white tea with breakfast; it sets a calm tone for the whole day. The taste is clean and nicely balanced in every cup. I do wish the aroma were a bit stronger, but after a few brews, you really start to feel that soothing, gentle calm.
This special dragonjing green tea has me feeling and looking good for some of the finest reasons, haha. One that fixes my mood after a frustrating day, second, the fragrance just pulls me back every time. I love this tea and definitely recommend it.
My recent purchase went well with the Special Clear Fragrance Tieguanyin Oolong tea. The aroma is light and pleasant, and it really helped me feel relaxed this morning. Overall, good quality, and I highly recommend it to any tea lover.
What a great find from the Dofotea brand! I drink a maximum of 2 cups of this black Zhengshan Xiaozhong Tea every day. I like how the flavour doesn’t hit you all at once and sort of unfolds slowly. The tea is soothing and relaxing, and does not overly push you to guess the flavour right away.
I stumbled upon the Dofotea brand and got myself my favourite Huoshan Special Grade Yellow Tea to wind down on a chaotic day. I have had an excellent experience every time I have gotten my hands on this. The yellow tea flavor is a bit light, but in a few sips, you will definitely get there.
Great taste! And one of the most amazing jasmine green teas I have ever tried. But the flavour was slightly mild, and it took me a few sips to distinguish it. Overall, really enjoyable tea before you hit the bed. I highly recommend getting this as your first try because it is mild and can set the base well.
My every time stop is at Dofotea to get my favourite tea. This jinjunmei black tea is so fresh and delish to boost my day. I enjoy it during my book reading sessions to help me relax on quiet mornings. It took me many months to find this aroma in a tea that actually delivers the right amount of goodness.
Every day, my morning starts with Chrysanthemum White Tea and let me tell you it is DELICIOUS and RELAXING. My husband loves to have it for breakfast as well. Sometimes we spice things up by adding freshly handpicked lavender to enhance the taste, and it turns out even better.
This Yunnan dianhong black tea has goodness packed in it every time I try it. The aroma is gentle, and it helps me relax after my 12-hour shift from work. I drink it as a perfect workday energizer. I like how the flavour hits me every time.
