Collection: White Tea

White tea is a slightly fermented tea and one of the six major types of tea in China. It is named because the finished tea is mostly buds and leaves, covered with white hairs, like silver or snow. White tea is not withered or rolled, but only dried in the sun or over a slow fire. The buds and leaves are complete, the hairs are full, the fragrance is fresh, the soup is yellow-green and clear, and the taste is light and sweet.
