Brewing instructions

Brewing Instructions: We recommend adding 6 to 8 grams of tea leaves per brew. Use a ceramic covered bowl or a purple clay teapot, using a recommended tea-to-water ratio of 1:15. Maintain the water temperature above 95°C throughout the brewing process. Once the water boils, the first and second pours of water are used to cleanse the tea leaves of impurities and awaken them. After the third pour, you can enjoy the tea. After each pour, wait 3-4 seconds before pouring the tea. This hold time can be adjusted to suit your preference.In order to give you a better tea tasting experience, we recommend that you use purified water for brewing, and do not use tap water or mineral water directly.

Product introduction: It is said that during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, there was a poor tea farmer named Wei Yin in Xiping Township, Anxi. He passed by a dilapidated Guanyin Temple near the village every day, and he was full of respect. He insisted on sweeping the floor, burning incense, and offering sacrifices to Guanyin Bodhisattva year after year.
One night, he dreamed that Guanyin Bodhisattva instructed him to look for treasures in the cracks of rocks on the mountain. The next day, he followed the guidance in his dream and found a strange tea tree under a rock. He took it home and cultivated it carefully. A few years later, the tea produced by this tea tree had a delicate fragrance, rich taste, and lasting sweetness. It was as fragrant as orchid and was called a divine product.
In order to thank Guanyin for giving him tea, he named it "Iron Guanyin"

The taste is mellow, the aftertaste is long-lasting, the throat rhyme is deep, the tea soup is smooth and sweet, and each soup maintains an excellent taste and aroma.

Origin and production process

The special grade Tieguanyin uses a light fermentation process, with a lighter temperature, so the water content of the tea leaves is more, so the taste is light. Anji Bai, an exceptional tea! Among green teas, this is my favorite! After brewing, the color in the cup is very light, and when you sip, it has a honeyed aftertaste, very sweet, that lingers in the mouth.

This oolong tea is really lovely

This oolong tea is really lovely. It's slightly sweet, and light. It's not bitter, (unless you steep it too long). It's quickly becoming one of my favorites!

Silky and rich, yet light enough for afternoon sipping

This tea is a delight. It has a silky full texture, rich in round flavors of chestnuts, honey and caramel. Brewed for 4 minutes and it has no bitterness, just that little bit of sweetness to keep you sipping and enjoying. As others have mentioned, the taste lingers and you are happy for it.

The tea was floral and bright with a slight nutty aroma and a looong aftertaste. Very nice to enjoy in a slow gong fu cha session. I brewed it up to 7 times but I think I could brew even more.
