Collection: pu'er tea

Pu'er tea is a specialty of Yunnan Province, China, and is a national geographical indication product of China.

Pu'er tea belongs to the large tree tea tree, with a height of 16 meters and a breast diameter of 90 centimeters. The young branches have fine hairs and the top buds have white soft hairs. The leaves are thin and leathery, oval. It is produced in old forests in southwestern Yunnan. The old tree is 17 meters tall and has a breast diameter of more than 1 meter. It has been widely cultivated. The tea trees cultivated in India and Myanmar are introduced from Yunnan.

Pu'er tea can be divided into raw Pu'er and cooked Pu'er. Raw Pu'er is semi-fermented tea. The color of raw Pu'er tea is lighter, mostly yellow-green or dark green. The taste of raw Pu'er is relatively refreshing, the bitterness is stronger, the sweetness is faster, and the aroma is high and lasting. Cooked Pu'er is a fully fermented tea, mostly reddish brown or black brown, and the taste of cooked Pu'er is thicker, the bitterness is weaker, the sweetness is slower, and the aroma is deep.
