Brewing instructions

Brewing Instructions: We recommend adding 6 to 8 grams of tea leaves per brew. Use a ceramic covered bowl or a purple clay teapot, using a recommended tea-to-water ratio of 1:15. Maintain the water temperature above 95°C throughout the brewing process. Once the water boils, the first and second pours of water are used to cleanse the tea leaves of impurities and awaken them. After the third pour, you can enjoy the tea. After each pour, wait 3-4 seconds before pouring the tea. This hold time can be adjusted to suit your preference.In order to give you a better tea tasting experience, we recommend that you use purified water for brewing, and do not use tap water or mineral water directly.

Product introduction: According to legend, in one year of the Ming Dynasty, a scholar who was going to Beijing to take an imperial examination passed by Wuyi Mountain and suddenly fell seriously ill. He was cured by a monk at the Tianxin Rock who boiled tea from a tea plant. He later won the first place in the imperial examination. After returning to the court, he specially ordered people to cover the tea plant with the imperial red robe to express his gratitude, indicating that it "had meritorious service in protecting the body". Since then, this tea plant has been called "Da Hong Pao".It is a semi-fermented oolong tea with the typical "rocky floral fragrance" characteristics, with a strong aroma, rich taste and long-lasting sweetness.

Tasting notes

Da Hong Pao has a tight appearance and a bright green-brown color. After brewing, the soup is bright orange-yellow, with a rich and varied aroma, which may include orchid fragrance, osmanthus fragrance, etc. The taste is mellow and the sweetness lasts for a long time.
