Brewing instructions

Amount of tea: put about 3 grams of tea leaves per cup (adjustable according to personal taste).
Water temperature: use hot water of about 85℃~90℃ to avoid destroying the tea and flower fragrance.
Brewing time: About 1~2 minutes for the first time
The brewing time can be appropriately extended each time afterwards
Number of brewing: It can be brewed 3~5 times, and the flower fragrance and tea flavor can still be retained.
Tea set suggestion: It is recommended to use glass or white porcelain cups to facilitate viewing of tea soup and flowers.In order to give you a better tea tasting experience, we recommend that you use purified water for brewing, and do not use tap water or mineral water directly.

Tasting notes

Jasmine green tea has a fresh and fragrant taste. The tea soup combines the freshness of green tea with the rich fragrance of jasmine flowers. It tastes sweet and mellow, with a long aftertaste and a light sweetness and floral fragrance.

Ingredients and content range

Tea polyphenols: 20%–30% (dry weight, depending on the tea base used)
Caffeine: 2%–4% (dry weight)
Amino acids: 3%–5% (theanine is the main component)
Vitamin C: 80–200 mg/100g dry tea
Soluble sugars: 3%–5% (primarily fructose and glucose)
Aromatic compounds: 0.5%–1% (derived from floral aroma compounds, such as linalool and methyl jasmone)

Origin and production process

Select jasmine flowers from Hengxian County, Guangxi and roasted green tea from Chun'an, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Selected single-petal jasmine and roasted green tea are scented seven times in layers (temperature 30-38℃), and then slowly roasted at low temperature after the flowers are cooled. The remaining flowers are removed, and the tea soup is fresh, sweet and refreshing, with a strong sweet fragrance of rock sugar.

A robust smoky flavor with hints of sweetness that taste like Autumn. Rich in flavor and color, I enjoy Zhongshan Xiaozhong Black Tea with breakfast as it goes nicely with anything from grits or oatmeal to pancakes and waffles!

Anji Bai, an exceptional tea! Among green teas, this is my favorite! After brewing, the color in the cup is very light, and when you sip, it has a honeyed aftertaste, very sweet, that lingers in the mouth.
