Tasting notes

Mengding Ganlu has a slender appearance, tender and strong leaves and buds, covered with silver hairs, tender green and curled; after brewing, the soup is clear apricot green, and the leaves are full and even; the taste is as sweet as nectar, fresh and mellow, with a rich aftertaste and a tender fragrance.

Brewing instructions

1. Prepare a glass cup of about 200ml (tea-water ratio of about 1:50), pour in boiling water at about 80℃, and add about 4 grams of tea leaves. 2. Wait for the tea leaves to slowly sink one by one. 3. The tea leaves slowly stretch in the teacup and float up and down. 4. Wait for the tea leaves to float up, the soup color is bright green, and the tea leaves can be tasted after they are dissolved in the tea soup. Wait for the tea leaves to sink one by one, and slowly appreciate their graceful posture. The tea leaves gradually stretch in the cup, one flag and one cannon, sinking and floating up and down, the soup color is bright green, and lifelike. Origin and production process

Historical Origin: Mengding Ganlu began in the Western Han Dynasty. Wu Lizhen, the first ancestor of tea planting, planted seven tea trees on the Shangqing Peak of Mengding Mountain, opening up the Mengshan tea culture. In the first year of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (742 AD), Mengshan tea became a tribute and was presented to the royal family. It lasted for a thousand years from the Tang Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty.
